Al-tru seat coverings, mint condition
Al-tru were first to offer after market Corvette seat upholstery, early '70s.
When we reupholstered our customers' seats with their products at that time
we noticed that the new coverings were exactly like the originals we had removed.
Color, texture, thickness, etc., were no different. We didn't give it much thought,
this is what we expected.
Thirty five years later we began hearing rumors that Al-tru products were made from
n.o.s. (new old stock) material from GM suppliers.
